A contemporary light IPA. Brewed from Scottish pale malt with a touch of crystal malt and organic wheat flour to soften the flavour and hold the head. The use of Oregon ’Liberty’ hops in the boil and ’Cascade’ hops as aroma gives this ale a new world flavour of it’s own. ’A fresh citrus aroma, clean texture, satisfying malt flavour with crisp hop finish’.

Clear golden beer with a decent frothy head. Light sweet aroma. Flavour is light, sweet and hoppy. It’s a touch watery and feels more lightweight than it actually is but it’d be perfect if you needed a beer for the long haul.

Cask at Clockwork beer Co. Pours golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas are faint, light malt. Taste is thin too, light sweet. Not a right lot going on.

Cask as origin Amber at Clockwork. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is earthy, grainy, barnyard, egg and soft farty sulphur. The taste is bitterearth, toasted grain, citrus peel, barnyard and peppery grapefruit with a rather dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Sulphur on the nose is rather off-putting. Not great...

Half, from the cask menu of their own ales at the brewpub. Clear amber, fragile lacing from a tiny, white layer. Soft hoppy smell, notes of grapefruits. Fresh fruity hops in flavour offset by caramel malts. Dry hopped ending. Thin in the mouth, but quite alright (Glasgow, 12.04.2012).

Cask-conditioned at Clockwork, Glasgow 15/06/10. Pale amber in colour with next to no head. Sweetish malt aroma with some citrus hops. Easy drinking, with orange fruit, a touch of green herbs and more hops, before a dryish finish. Good.

From cask at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Mild malty and roasted malt aroma. Has a slight butterish note too. Flavour is the same with a light breadish note. A bit butterish here too. Mild fruity. Ends mild malty with a light bitterness showing through.
