Pins is selling a special beer called “Ally’s Bee Beary Strawberry Blonde Ale” that was brewed for Ally Anderson. Ally was 11 when she was diagnosed with Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), a rare and aggressive type of soft tissue cancer. After putting up a brave fight for five years, Ally died in November. She was 16 years old.
Now to keep her memory and legacy alive, Pins is selling her special ale with $1 from each beer sold going to Ally’s ARMS research fund through the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Hazy orange with a medium sized white head that left decent lacing. Tangy and sweetish with strawberry cream. Medium finish and body.

Tall skinny 12 oz can, as pictured. Pour is cloudy pale and it has a nice creamy foamy head that fades to a quarter inch. Nose is a hint of mildly sour strawberry. First taste is better than expected, its an interesting uptake of tart and berry. Not sure if I can tell its strawberry or not but it is quite different and better than expected. No real sweetness to speak of, just a good mild mannered slightly tart drink. Decent carbonation too. Yes, enjoying this stuff. Should have bought a six pack of this. Except for that very slight touch of noble hops bitter bite, I'd say this is more like a fruited berliner weiss! Good stuff there you bikers!
