Peanuts Hazelnuts and Almond conditioned. Bottle shared with friends in The Hague. Many thanks. The aroma is roasty, molasses, chocolate, vanilla. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, chocolate, liquorice, light nutty, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate and a rich oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Inky, viscous, dark, no head.
Get the almond mostly, in the nose, but it's certainly not overdone. Very tasteful nut additions with a bit of savory peanut and perhaps someore dry, chalky hazelnut. Easier to find when looking for them, of course. No booze, excess sugar. Typical deep chocolate fudge from malt with easygoing bourbon.
Some almond and peanut in the flavor as well. Not overdone. Less sweetness than the Coconut Truth with more prominent bourbon spice and acidity. Not sure if the coconut masked the bourbon, but this is far superior, and the whole nut additions are just gravy, as there's no sugar added as a result. Lingering bourbon spice, dry hazelnut and light roast with rich chocolate and caramel. Lingering nuttiness,bourbon, rich dark chocolate and vanilla. Lovely, lovely stuff and I'm betting this will be among the top of all the recent Truth releases.
