(On tap at A Night with GLB and Amsterdam Brewery @ Bar Hop, Sept 19 2014). Pours a really hazy straw colour with a small laceless white cap. Aroma of fresh peaches, a bit of wheat malt, lactic yogurt notes, slight hay notes from Brett and a bit of oak. On the palate, slightly sweet wheat malt with a bit of marmalade and fresh peach at first. Lactic yogurt character builds up from mid palate to the finish and a touch of hay comes into the picture as well. Lingering touches of peach in the slightly mineral aftertaste. Medium body with soft sparkling water carb. I think I expected a bolder beer, and kind of wish I’d tried it earlier in the evening, but its a nice use of peaches in a refreshing but interesting package.
