Scherdel »alkoholfrei« ist ein leichtes, schlankes Bier ohne Alkohol. Trotzdem entfaltet es beim Trinken einen angenehm abgerundeten, feinherben und hopfenaromatischen Geschmack. Im Glas ist es an seiner charakteristischen hellgelben Farbe und einem sahnigen kompakten Schaum zu erkennen. Scherdel Free enthält einen Rest von weniger als 0,5 % vol. Alkohol.

Sehr süßer Kornflakes-Beginn. Spritzig, weiche Herbe, der unangenehme Beginn verschwindet schnell. Noch etwas süß, dumpf, trocken herber (aber milder) Abgang. Noch ok. 9/4/7/8/8/5

Bottle, next to nowhere and David Hasselhoff. Clear deep golden. Hay, damp, apple; a lot of wort. Taste is pretty much the same. Sweet. Though definitely had worse.

Goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig süß, getreidig. Geschmack sehr getreidig, malzig süß, typisches Alkoholfreies.

Bottle looks not really good, almost like a cheap beer. Beer in the glass zippy, short living head. Starts mild, almost a bit washy. More and more spicy-wheaty, notes of bread, quite moldy. Not so good.

Pale golden with a small white head. Strong grain aroma with grass, hay and a bit of dust. Sweet grainy flavour, dusty with a touch of hay, Quite bitter finish

Bottle @ Odense Summer Tasting, 2011. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head. Nose is corn. Unformented wort. Thin and watery. Rather rough and horrible.

Bottled. A golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and bread, leading to a dry cardboard finish.
