Fairly hazy, but very light golden coloured body with an average two to three centimetre tall off-white head that covers the top nicely, above the hazy golden glow. Aroma of tons of tropical fruits, passionfruit, mangoes, pineapple and even some lychee notes are here, with a light hit of wheat or light malts - very nice in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Crispy fruity flavours dominate with some pineapple and mango notes up front, then a light dry quality from the malt, but ending with a slightly subdued sweetness and bitterness that bring out some more character - especially at the end. Aftertaste is fairly crisp and dry, especially for the style, which perhaps is due to the malts used here, and even shows a slight fake sugar/aspartame quality near the very end and finish. Overall, a pretty nice IPA that has a very tropically nose and the flavour is fairly well-balanced, yet with nice notes throughout, especially the fresh hops. Good to sample this one locally and a decent, not flawless option, if you can grab it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Reston, Virginia on 14-June-2021 for US$3,25, canned on 21-May-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-July-2021.

A pine tree nose. Initial taste is woodsy winter with a real Christmas tree flavor. Palate is pine. Easy carbonation.

$3.50 pint can, WW. Hazy gold with a soft white head. Oddly smells like green banana... like strong green banana. Not bad, it's just odd! Flavor is green banana, pine, citrus peel, tropical fruit. Green banana wins out, and where it's odd, I kinda like it. Interesting hop, I guess. Or they threw a ton of unripened bananas in this batch.
