Dunkelmalziger, etwas cremiger Antrunk, der sich nicht mehr steigert sondern im Mittelteil abbaut und trocken wird. Dies ist Schade, da nach dem erwartungsweckenden Antrunk ein dagegen leerer Mittelteil folgt, in dem die Malznotenviel zu schwach sind. Ein kurzes Revival erlebt es im Abgang, bleibt aber unter den Erwartungen zurück. Wenig Restsüße, träg hopfig und bitter. 11/11/8/8/9/9

Bottle. Amber with a thin head. Not much aroma, bready malt. Flavour is a bit bitter with a very dry finish.

Copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and bread. Sweet and malty flavour with some apple notes and dried fruit. Warming alcohol with a hint of solvent.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry, bitter, and alcoholic finish.

Bottle @ Bavaria/Berlin Tasting, Odense. Pours amber with a small creamy white head. Nose is fruit and alcohol. Medium to thin body. Quite poor . .

Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Dark brown color. Malt and fruit confit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dried fruit, just a hint of roast and pear. Some earthy notes, caramel and a hint of licorice. Medium bodied. A bit too sweet, even for a bock, but the roast in the aftertaste is nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear orangey brown with a beige head. Sweetish aroma of pumpernickel and burned caramel. Quite full-bodied, roasted malt and dried fruit combined with bready notes of sweet pumpernickel. Some alcohol present in the finish. 220309 and 140509

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, light raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery alcohoc finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090322]

Dark amber with a medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Flavour was sweet with caramel roasted malt and overripe fruits. Finised sweet.

Rb#9200: 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden hazzlenut brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malt and towards breadish aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavoured with a touch of bread. Good hoppy counterbalance. Smooth roasted malt flavour into the far finish, medium bitter/dry.
