Celebrating Neenah's 150th Anniversary, this Historic Lager was brewed with historically accurate ingredients to replicate what the Ehrgott Brothers were making in 1873 at their Neenah brewery on Lake Street. Full-bodied, malty and crisp, this lager is pale amber in color and also features the herbal and citrusy flavors of Cluster hops - the leading variety farmed locally during that period.

Pint can from Total Wine Darboy, 2/19/25. Slightly hazy amber, thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of tart malts, tea, stone fruits. Dry. Taste is toast, stone fruit, tart fruits. Very tart and I suspect infection.
