Backlog. Multiple times back in the US. Not much to say really. Not overly sweet at least and refreshing. That’s about all I guess.

330ml bottle found in La Paz, Bolivia, labelled Michelob Lager with 4.8% alcohol. Okay white head but not much density, yellow body. Soft aroma of hops dispersed by carbonation. Flavour is murky rice adjuncts with just a hint of hops. Just about what you’d expect from an American macro.

I’ve sampled this more than enough times.
Here goes.
Always into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly decent looking amber/bronzed color with a quickly dieing half fingered white foamy head. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell had some light cooked caramel malts or uh...perhaps maybe burnt to an extent.
The taste was semi-sweet through the cooked caramel malts.
The palate sat fairly light and showed a pretty decent sessionable quality about it. The carbonation is exceptionally smooth.
Overall, well, its an American Adjunct Lager and to me, well, its actually not bad, its just nothing really good.

How my mother drinks this is perplexing.

Bought at Liquor Shed. Part of a mixed 6pack.

Twist off cap, it pours a clear light gold, actually attractive, small but sustaining head of foam. Lacing is decent.

It has a fruity adjunct smell, sweet with a mild bitterness.

The taste is a mixture of malty sweetness, grain and very little bitterness. I remember it being much more malt forward in the past. Another recipe adjustment to simplify and grab drinkers of mass brewed beers? I reckon that it still has too much flavour to appease their palates.

The mouthfeel is spot on for beers of similar ilk.

The negatives outweigh the positives in this current rendition. Too bad.

Bottle @ home picked up at RJs Fort Collins. My bros thought this was the bees knees as far as macros to when I was underage. My first run at this beer in five years. Pours a clear golden appearance with a decent white head. A bit spritzy, corn, toasted grainy, sweet lemon aroma. So far this is a solid macro pale lager. A bit but crisp, solid toasted malty, lightly bitter, mild flavor. Best pale lager from a macro that I’ve had in quite a while. Definitely a draught beer for connoisseurs.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint but sweet with hints of citrus and bread. The flavor was semi-sweet and a touch tangy with a bit bready and yeasty presence and a touch of honey. Very mild and smooth flavors for an industrial lager - not the sour bite and corny notes we have come to expect. Short mild finish with a hint of bread. Medium body. Not bad for what it is.

Bottle. Barely perceptible malt aroma. Pale gold with a moderate white head. Sweet grainy malt flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.
