Bottle poured into a shaker. Very malt oriented. Dirty malt and some light herbal hops. Taste is about the same. Very light bitter and sweet. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation. Overall, it’s ok. I’ve had much worse in the pale lager category.

Ahh, the beers of my youth, when there was almost nothing but pale lagers, and I knew nothing about beer styles. We drank this one when we had the money for it, because we believed the marketing that said it was a premium beer. Well, maybe it was, who knows? At this point I’ll never go back.

Bottled (Thanks John!). Quite yellowish golden colour, small white head that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is grains, bread, some slight maizelike notes as well as mild tomatosaucelike strangeness. Flavour is quite similar with some slight rubbery and cardboardy notes. Rather watery and thin.

Bottle. (Michelob Original Lager.) Pours a light, clear copper with a fizzy white head. Mild malt aroma with some grains and caramel. Sweet flavor with more cereal. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Nothing special, but not terrible

Weak malt aroma. Golden, thin head. Cherry vanilla flavor with plastic overtones. Overly fizzy mouthfeel. More flavorful than most AB products, but these particular flavors don’t suit me well.

Overall Impression: It's a little better then the terrible Macro crap, but it's not even Bud's quality level...
