The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts roasty-malty, not too dry. Notes of plum, a bit earthy. Well balanced finish - good beer!

Bottle, 5.6%. Mildly buttery aroma. Almost clear light brown colour. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is quite malty, slightly roasted. Dusty finish, bordering on buttery. But not too bad. Rough bitterness with a little spicy hoppiness in the finish.

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is earth, malts, hops and some wood. Flavour is the same along with bigtime grassyness. Aftertaste is earthy and grassy. Quite pleasantly balanced.

Bottled (BB 05/2008)
Amber color, quite small white head. Light vinegar, barnyard, nuts and grain in the nose. Crisp carbonation. Some caramelly notes then nice hoppy bitterness - long enough, but not too bitter. Not a very typical kellerbier.
