0.75 l bottle from 'REWE' (Wyk auf Föhr). Clear, pale golden with a few white bubbles on top of it. Sweetish, gently floral and a little vinous aroma of honey, apple and some white grapes. Quite sweet, gently floral and a little vinous taste of honey, white grapes, some apple and light walnut, followed by a short, a bit dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Quite pleasant actually, decently balanced and quite aromatic.

Many thanks to Hans Peter for sharing. Sweetish sticky honey. Easy to drink with a very nice sessionable honey aroma. Honey sweetish and refreshing, sessionable but not too deep.

Bottle shared at the Aug. 2016 Monticello Dairy Bottle Share, 8/1/16, as Bea’s Sweet Mead Honeywine. Clear golden, weak legs. Aroma of honey and bread. The taste is citrus, honey, vanilla. Medium bodied, still, mild booze.
