Bleeding Heart is the second release in our 2022 Flower Series. This Gose-style Kettle Sour is brewed with coriander and local sea salt from our friends at Newport Sea Salt. It's sure to be true love at first sip with generous and heartfelt additions of cranberries and plums.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark pink to maroon/red-like in color with a finger's worth of pink foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet and tart plums, the tart side of the cranberries, subtle salt and sweet wheat
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet, tart and lightly salty quality; finishes the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability to this; some smoothness too
Overall: I'd say it's nice as a "fruited tart ale" but it fails to provide substantial true gose character. Still, it's well brewed enough that I would return to this.

Beautiful, cloudy pink-watermelon. Fluffy, pink-specked head.
Juicy fruits and light acidity, nothing punchy. Soft wheat and more lingering fruit. Clean and bright. Fruit done very well.
Juicy and expressive fruit with a great balance of sweet and tart. Chewy, soft wheat creates a comforting palate and soaks up any potential excess acidity. Juicy, balanced, not sugary at all. Authentic fruit.
