Hornbeer Blonde is a Belgian inspired beer. Our Blonde is brewed from light barley malt, spices, hops, water and yeast. The complex taste comes from the spices and the Belgian yeast type. The beer is highly carbonated and is bubbly and fresh to look at. The beer is unfiltered and does not have the clearness of a pilsner due to ultra-fine particles of yeast and malt remaining in the beer, which adds to the tasting experience. Blonde is best served chilled between 7-9 degrees and is the ideal compliment to light starter courses, fish, shellfish, chicken or as a welcome drink instead of white wine or champagne.

Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a creamy beige head. Grains, fruits and banana in the aroma, a little citrus and some spices too. Sweet and fruity flavor, lightly spiced, with a hint of banana. Some lemon in the background. Medium to full body, sweetish, yet dry. Sweet, fruity finish. A quite quenching beer, decent, but just one in the crowd. (090516)

Cloudy orange with a disappearing white head. Aroma of grainy malt, with spice phenols, and some peach and pineapple esters. Yeasty dry flavour with notes of grain, rubber, spice and pepper. It’s very Belgian, but doesn’t stand out from the average.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Very yeasty and fruity. Moderate bitter flavor. Fruity and licorice notes, but very harsh bitterness mucks this beer up- Average harsh bitter finish. Oily palate. I really didnt like it but still OK score!!!!!

100ml, last pour from a bottle. Almost murky, amber body. Smell of late, sweet fruits. Peaches, ripe banana and wheat in flavour. Lightly spiced. Smooth. Has not got a pretty appearance, but otherwise it has got some interests (CBF, 16.05.2009).

Bottle, 6.6%. Weak grapefruity aroma, not entirely pleasant. Cloudy orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour has some vegetable and a little spice, perhaps clove. There is an subtle hop note, slightly grapefruity as well. Slightly rough bitterness, but goes well with this beer.
