Draft. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma is powerful with notes of alcohol, chocolate, roated malt, and a bit of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, wood, and soy sauce, leading to anextremely dry and very roasted finish. I can’t find the wheat, but a nice imperial stuot.

From tap at Ølbaren. Pours dark brown to black with a small chocolate brown head. Dark roasted, light smoked, and dense chocolate with a smooth fruity note. Hard roasted flavoured, quite acidic and disharmonious. Roasted chocolate and nice bitter hoppy flavoured finish. Good mouthfeel.

Growler 200cl. @ DØE Tasting, Fox & Hounds, Nørregade, Holstebro, Denmark.Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, licorice notes, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20090331]
