Bottle at Craig’s bit tasting, Edinburgh, 21-03-09 thanks to Craig for hosting and also big thanks to Henrikb for passing this beer on Pours orangey amber with a quickly departing white head. Typical Belgian nose to this one in thats its quite yeasty touches of spice and even a little fruity. The characteristics found on the nose are also very much in evidence in the mouth, another really nice beer from Beer Here and three solid scores from the three that I’ve had. A7 A3 F7 P4 OV13 3.4

Bottle at Plan B, Copenhagen
Hazy blond color; the head reduces quickly. It has a light spicy yeast aroma, with light orange peel. Medium body strength, with a revealing alcohol warmth, malt flavor, very spicy (probably a combined effect of the yeast and coriander); compared to a classic Belgian Tripel it has a fruity touch and light sweetness; thus not a classic example, but it’s still a positive change. Good bitterness level; in the final the malt, spices and hop are well balanced. Very pleasant.
