As bitter as a German taxpayer... as pale as Alexis Tsipras at a cashpoint... and lots of tropical and citrus hop flavours we can’t find facetious similes for...

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear golden yellow pour with a frothy off white head, aroma is bursting with lime and soft malts, taste has bitter grapefruit, light malts, zesty citrus, I liked. --- Beer merged from original tick of Greece-Proof Paper on 22 Dec 2015 at 19:05 - Score: 7

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. Pours a hazy, orange gold colour. Skim of white head. Nose has crisp, dry grain. Tangy, lemon hop. Taste is full of pithy, zesty grapefruit bitterness. Minimal sweetness. Beautifully crisp, clean mouthfeel. The bitterness rises and lingers for an age. In lovely condition, this. Really good.
