Aura is a pale and fresh lager with a pleasant saaz hopping. The fresh flavor is aromatic and balanced. Aura has been brewed to celebrate the 120th birthday of the original Aura beer (brewed in Turku), as well as the 775th birthday of the city of Turku, the oldest city of Finland. The hopping has been considerably reduced compared to the original recipe. 10.3°

Beer for real maukas. Smell - weak some hops Foam - thin, not watery, some weak bitterness and toothpaste feel. Appearance - clear amber orange, some carbonation Taste - some weak biteernessz some citrus, ok lager.

330ml bottle from Alko in Hetta. Golden body with foamy head that rapidly diminishes and leaves a filmy layer. Sweet corn, wet grass and sweet malt aroma, that is also mirrored in taste. Slight bitterness and some earthy notes in the finish. Better with food! 28.Sep.2013

Aroma is malty with grain, distant herbal notes and hints of grassy hops. Flavour has grainy malt, some grassy hops, hints of citrus and herbs. Typical and harmless, better than most Finnish bulk beers though. Quite different than the ”special” version called Juhla‐Aura.
