Bottled. Clear, golden-colored beer with a dense, off-white head. It has an aroma of freshly mowed grass, grain and malt. It has a bit stinging hop-flavor, yet it is quite weak, and with grain , hay and grass. Thin to medium body and a grainy and flowery finish. I guess I’ll never fully understand the beers from Refsvindinge. (070104)

Dark amber with fine white head. (Looks more like an ale) Aroma of malts - sweetness. Medium body & medium carbonation. Short finish with little bite from hops. Pleasant. (Untraditional lager on the outside)

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a fine, insisting head. Malty, fruity nose, with a delicate, slightly caramelish feel to the flavours. Good solid, hoppy finish. Nice one. But calling this ale a "Pils" is a freakin’ joke - but brewer John insists. "Beer enthusiasts are not to decide the names for my beers", he once told me...Well, fair enough then. 260801

Bottle. Farty aroma, hint of smoke. Brown colour, hint of red. The head is small but quite stable. Watery mouthfeel and flavour. Flavour is very mild, not much malt and very little hops.

An amber beer with very little head and almost no aroma. The flavor is a little flat, soft - I believe it contains munchner malt. An OK beer.

Amber pils, bottle conditioned. Strange aroma, malt honey, light burnt malt. Also strange flavour, original but not extremely pleasant; malt, some sweetness and light sourness, light 'smokey' background; almost spicy; very unusual. Similar palate.
