From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy and dark brown with a small and dense tan head. Smooth roasted malt aroma with a light hoppy presence. Chocolate and mild caramel too, mixed with a subdued smoke note. Flavour is smooth malty and roasted. Mild sweetness and caramel shining through. Medium to full bodied wth a creamy texture. Lasting chocolate and roasted caramel smooth malt finish with a breadish touch. Nice one.
