Bottle: Clear, deep golden to amber coloured, mid-sized, persistent white head with a little lace; moderate toasty and sugary nose; medium bodied, quite soft, moderate sweet and light bitter flavour; a light sourish-cardbordy touch in the sweetish toasty finish. The first drinkable brew from Kaiser..........

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a mid-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet, slightly sugary toast-malty aroma with a tinge of caramel. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Cara-malty and toasty malty, slightly bready and crusty taste with a whiff of cardboard in the background. Moderately sweet and toasty finish with a shy note of herbal hops. Not bad by Kaiser Geislingen standards (02.IV.09).
