16oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour, small cream colored head fades slowly. Malty aroma, woody, nutty. Taste is malty and dry, brown sugar, leather, tannic with a bone dry finish. Does not present itself as strong.

Accidentally ordered two cans from Half Time, let us see if it is worth it. A barleywine, I suspect so. A 16 oz can opened and going inside of a tulip glass from a departed Houston brewery. I see a dark, shiny mahogany brown body completed by a spare skim of light tan foam. The nose is rather minimal, grain and a touch of dark fruit. Fortunately the taste is a step forward. Baked bread, some figs, a hint of chocolate, cane syrup, malt and earth. Solid in one of my favorite styles, glad now I have an another can for later.

Can from Tavour. Pours ruddy dark brown with a huge creamy/foamy tan head that persisted. Aroma of toffee with a touch of treacle. Full bodied. Not dry, avoids sticky. Flavor is toffee/treacle. Somewhat bitter. Calling fig/date for flavor.
