*Best before 03.06.10. Mild-weicher Antrunk. Schöne Karamell- und Bananenaromen im Hauptteil, Nelke, Gewürze. Kaum Herbe, schön weich und hefig-süffig. Schokoladig-Karamelliger Nachgeschmack mit schöner Nelkig-Bananiger Hefe. Lecker.

bottle, kindly delivered by MoritzF! Cloudy brown colour, mid-sized off-white to beige head. Malty, slightly wheaty with caramel and chocolate. Shy fruity sourness in the background.

Bottle. Caramel malt, banana and clove aroma. Cloudy dark brown color with nice tan head. Tangy, sweet toffee malt, clove and banana flavor. Nice body. Nice wheat taste - subdued esters/spices.

Bottle 50cl. @ [ Fastelavns Tasting Ulfborg ].Unclear medium brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090221]

Bottle, 5.2%. Weak banana aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour starts off with some banana, turns roasted, but mild. Good mouthfeel.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear dark brown with an orange hue and a small off-white head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruit, burned caramel and yeast. Medium body with sweetish banana and burned caramel. Very soft mouthfeel. A whiff of phenols. Discreet bitterness. Very pleasant. 011108

Dark reddish brown with large beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and yeasty notes. Sweet flavour with roasted maltm, caramel, fruity and caramel notes. Ends sweet.

Bottle: hazy, lively carbonation, thick, creamy stable tanned head; fresh fruity (berries) nose with dark, chocolatey malt in the background; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied; sourish-yeasty finish with a subtle fruitiness and a light chocolatey touch. Hazy nutty brown color, big cloudy beige head. Woody hoppy and banana aroma. Toasted banana flavor, caramelly finish. Fizzy carbonation in the finish. Good, solid dunkelweizen, one of the best of the style from Germany.
