Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge light tan head - seemingly a bit over carbonated. The aroma has notes of hop juice, and citrus fruits, as well as lighter notes of straw and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of citrusy hops making it very bitter, but also with notes of alcohol, caramel, and a bit of phenol, leading to a very bitter finish. A bit raw in its expression.

Beautiful amber color; big creamy head. It has a cheesy hop aroma, fruity too; strange but not too bad. Bitter toffee flavor, not much residual sweetness, the usual Danish nutty touch, strong bitterness. Nutty finish. Quite powerful, but not impressive.

Bottled (BBE 2009). Deep amber color, big cloudy beige head, lace. Hop juice nose with citrus and pineapple. Fruity hoppy pineapple, citrus also in the flavor. Long bitter aftertaste. Well, it is hoppy, reasonably malty, but same time a bit boring.

Unclear golden, no head. Fruit hoppy to the nose. Rounded taste of plain hop bitterness with a nice mix of citrus and sweet, tropical fruits. Dry bitter ending. Rounded mouthfeeling (Poured from a bottle at the beer festival in Copenhagen, 16.05.2009).

Hazy amber with a lasting, fluffy white head. The aroma is malty at first with notes of peach, tangerine and other tropical fruits. Yummy Amarillo. Dryish malty flavour with a toasted note, orange hop flavour and a good solid bitterness. I have a feeling Nibe is an under-hyped brewery...
