Bottle 500ml as Troldhede Aksel’s Dark Rye Ale @ yngwie
Pours cloudy dark amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, rye and a little butterscotch. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a very strange dry feeling and hints of nail polish removal. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, as Aksel’s Dark Rye Ale. A slightly unclear one, copper to light brown in color and with a small, off-white head on top. The aroma is buttery and slightly sourish, in a milky way, with some nice roasted maltyness in the back. It’s sourish and paint thinner-like in the mouth, with a pleasant roasted maltyness. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Sourish and thinner-like finish. Sure not my kind of bock, hopefully it’s not supposed to be like this. 110524

Bottled as Nykøbing Mors Dark Vintage. A murky brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, vegetables, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, as well as lighter notes of straw and spices. Boring. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Troldhede Nykøbing Mors Dark Vintage". Cloudy and opaque brown with a small, off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Medium body, sweetish roasted malt, lightly perfumy with some fruit. Finishes dry. Not bad as such but very, very far from a Bock. 200409

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Yeasty and mild caramelish aroma. Roasted caramel, light chocolate and light bitterness. Good balance between hops and malt, yet a bit too chocolate flavoured and yeasty. Nice bitter and mild roasted flavoured finish.
