Fairly muddled and hazy pink and ruby glowing head with a nice richer red tint and a very soft one to two centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of cranberries (of course), sour and tart strawberries, a dash of caster sugar and some light spice notes, but mainly a soft and balanced malt/wheat component and a kick of tart fruits. Light-bodied; Very soft and crisp cranberry soured flavours show at first with a bit of lemons and grass here, without much else - only a touch of residual sugars come out, without any big malt or pungent flavours. Aftertaste is dry, tart, slightly soured and showing a very easy-drinking profile with the cranberries front and centre, also with a slight wheat bite and a finish of some spices with an enjoyable crispness. Overall, great to try and very appropriate for the fall season with an enjoyable dryness and tart quotient, but enough complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Woodbridge, Virginia on 02-November-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six pack), with a 'best by' date of 15-April-2022 and sampled at my house in Washington on 23-December-2021, just two days before Christmas!
