Bottle sample @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade, courtesy of a friendly guy. Black without head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily and soft. A bit chalky. A bit boozy. 210525

Smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with some salty licorice, hints of barrel, maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, some oaky bourbon. Pretty good.

Bottle @ Tidens Farver. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, light wood, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, dried fruit, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 250425

Aroma: nice and bold American oak, moderately sweet, some vanilla and black chocolate.
Taste: taste is along the same lines, toasted oak, moderately to highly sweet, quite thick, molasses.
Overall: good one.
