Cask at Whitebridge Hotel, Inverness - misty red body with a firm white head. Nutty malts, orange caramel with a little herbal finish.

Citrus and a little oak. Hazy reddish pour with soap bubbles. Light tangy end. Lime. Orange peel. Nice cask pour at Black Isle bar in Inverness.

Cask. Clear bright amber color small white head. Aroma is earthy and lightly nutty. Taste is lightly earthy caramel. Decent.

Tap at the Alehouse. Pours dark amber. Aroma is soft toasted malts, some pine. Body is light and bitter, low carbonation, rather sweet. Also sweet on the palate. Quite good, but a bit boring.

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - dark amber to brown with creamy beige head. Sweet and toasted malty with lots of caramel notes, some toffee, biscuity malt, dark citrus fruit shred, hoppy support, malty medium bitter into the close.

Cask at Hootananny, Inverness. Pours clear amber with an off-white head. Caramel malts, light roastiness, bit of fruit. Nothing too interesting really.

Cask at cloisters. Pours clear copper-red with a thin, off-white head. Aromas of caramel, light acetic note, hob-nobs. Taste is sweet oat biscuits, caramel. Sweet finish.

Cask at cloisters. Pours clear amber, nose is sweet toffee, caramel, floral, taste is burnt toffee, roasted, popcorn.

Cask at Hootananny, Inverness, 18/10/13. Hazed reddish amber with a good sized beige head, good lacing ensues. Nose is sweetish, biscuit malt, light hop bill, mineral notes, citrus, hint of grapefruit. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit malt, light spic, good hop presence. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate, light hop bitterness in the finish. Nice malty hoppy amber affair.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 20 July 2011) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of red fruit, orange peel and hints of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with orange peel, caramel, red fruit and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Quite nice.
