Letdrikkelig, tyskinspireret hvedeøl. Farven er hvidgul. Øllet er uklart og småboblende. Skummet er hvidt, luftig tæt og langvarigt. Duften giver noter af lyse malte og krydderier i næsen. Over ganen udvikles appelsin og banan. Sødmen balanceres af frisk syre og let bitterhed. Øllet er middelfyldigt. En rigtig tørstslukker på en varm sommerdag.

Bottle @ Knuds. A slight gusher that pours hazy dark yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, sweet fruit, more red apples than the usual banana. Flavor is rather sweet, wheat, yeasty, fruit. Medium body, lively carbonation, light sweet finish. 090516

50 cl bottle. Rated on 1.12.2009
Murky yellow colour, lacy head. Aroma is fresh and rather typical to a weisse. But with a spicy twist. Palate is too high on CO2. Flavour is rather dry without any banana. It has some toffee and caramel notes. Also hints of metal. A bit flat taste, but somehow I like this. Something between a Weizen and Dunkelweizen.

Bottle. It pours a big foamy, white head. The body is hazy and golden. Rather sourish aroma with banana, lemon and wheat. Papery and oily on the palate, dry, with a flavor of very ripe fruits. Slightly acidic, lacking on cloves. Not a very successful wheat beer, tastes almost bad, and I’m certainly not buying another bottle. 110601
