Cask at The New Oxford, Manchester. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of butter and toffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of butter, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter and buttery finish.

Cask @ The New Oxford, Salford, Manchester M3. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hints of butterscotch. Has a fruity malty caramel and toffee flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask (gravity) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester England M3 6DB.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090122]

Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival 09. Bit of diacetyl. The Bramling Cross hops do come through, but the mouthfeel is too carbonated and there is just too much butter for me.
