Cask-conditioned at the Prince of Wales, Chippenham 7/12/2018. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Grainty malts, a hint of sweetish fruits, leading to a moderately bitter finish. So so.

Cask @ Nightjar, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head. Crisp but watery with a light fruitiness and a dryish aftertaste. No actual wheat character found.

Tap at the Duke of Oxford. Nose is wheat, citrus, bread. Palate is bitter citrus, wheaty finish. Calling this a German wheat beer is an insult to even the bad German wheat beers, it is OK as a wheat ale.
