Half-pint, cask at Parcel Yard in Leicester. Shared with Finn. Pours a near-clear copper coloured body, resting beige head and clingy lacing on the glass. Smell of dark caramel malts. Flavoured with caramel, nuts and vague moments of dried fruits. Bittersweet ending. Rounded mouth feel. Decent. (10.02.2019).

Hand-pulled half pint at the Halloween Beer Festival held at the Batemans Visitor Centre on 31st Oct 2015. Clear amber body with a white fading head. Pretty boring blend to be honest, fruity, hoppy and with a dry finish. Just forgettable really, nothing stood out or captivated me in any way. Scored objectively.

Cask at the Cow and Plough, Oadby, Leicestershire. I took the time to visit this place following a recommendation on the CAMRA website and apart from the stale crisps I wasn't disappointed! The Sky Diver will probably go down as one of the nicest English Bitters I ever tasted. At 5% its one of the strongest bitters you will find and it's slightly darker too. There's a slightly stronger aroma than you might expect from a classic English bitter and there's a very strong and smooth malty taste with a hint of treacle. Not as spicy as you might expect, but that does not detract from the pleasure of drinking this beer. A top quality ale indeed. Looking forward to the next one! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
