Julebryg er en gylden brun ale, med et flot skum. Denne øl er krydret med koriander, hvilket også giver øllen en dejlig duft. Øllen har en rund, sødlig krydret smag med en fin, harmonisk bitter afrundning, som gør den utrolig behagelig at nyde. Julebryggen er særdeles velegnet til nydelse alene eller som perfekt ledsager til maden.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Fruiy nose with marzipan and cellar tones. Sweet with medium-full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cellar, coriander, ripe fruits and cocoa powder. Crystal malt and caramel. Honeyish finish with some warmth and low bitterness.

50cl Bottle from De Hopduvel, Gent. BB Januari 2012, ABV 7.5%. Dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of light-tart dark fruits, burnt caramel, a nice mild spicy note, some hops. Flavour is medium-sweet, malty, tart dark fruits, coreander, a light earthy note, burnt caramel, fruity and light hoppy bitter finish with a little fruity tartness that grows when the beer warms up. Medium-bodied. Nice.

BBE 1.1.2012 Pours reddish orange with a medium light brown head. Light aroma of malts, spices and cardboard. Taste is slightly malty with notes of licorice, fruits and spices. Finish is bready and malty. Decent, tastes slightly old.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - Batch RØ132 - ABV 7.5 %, at Pikkulintu, 20111209) The beer poured brown and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramell, malts and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, Belgian style yeast, malts, dark fruits, caramell and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, dark fruits and bitterness. An average Belgian style beer with a bit more forward maltiness.

Würziger, sehr intensiver Antrunk mit leichten Kräuter- und Fruchtnoten. Vollmundig bleibend, die Aromen überschlagen sich fast. Leicht nach Pflaume und vergoren Bananig, eine leichte Rauchnote ist zu erkennen. Dahinter trocken schokoladig, sehr, fast zu würzig. Zum Ende spannend nach Schokolade, auch hier deutlich nach Kräutern und allerlei Gewürzen. Gutes, aber fast überladenes Bier. 9/12/11/12/8/12

Draft @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish with some hints of caramel.
