Special - September and October 2005. Part of the "Made in Manchester" craft ales series.

Ingredients: English Maris Otter pale ale malt is surely the king of all ale malts and is used in this special autumnal ale along with crystal and Cara malt for extra flavour, body and colour. Bittering and aroma hops are English Fuggles and Challenger hops. Dry hopped in cask with a generous portion of Fuggles.

Nose: Malt and hops evident in good balance. Some biscuit aroma discernible from the use of Cara and Crystal malts.

Palate: A full and rounded mouth feel with spicy notes on the after palate from the use of Fuggles hops.

Comments: A well rounded and robust autumnal ale with good malt and hop characteristics evident.
