Attractive deep and clear, dark amber body supported by spotty lacework. Smooth malty aroma. Satisfying flavour of caramel malts mixed with fruits. Malt bitter finish. Half, cask in fine condition at Red Deer, Sheffield 2 Oct 10.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark London, Greater London England SE1 9AA. [ As Brains Buckley Best ]. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, molasses, mash, toffee, overriped apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20081231]

Cask at The Market Porter London Bridge 5 Feb 08. Golden brown colored. A tiny off white creamy head. Sweet fruity aroma. Plums. Disappointing flavor of dried fruit. Modest sourish bitter finish.

Cask @ The Harp, Covent Garden. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head, Fruity malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweet malty nutty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.
