Appearance; opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall beige frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Dark malts, biscuit, cookies, chocolate, forest berry jam. Taste: Light to medium sweet and bitter. Roasted barley, dark chocolate, forest berry jam, dried fruit, floral hop. Hoppy ending & aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Surprisingly good.
