Birra Moretti La Rossa is a double malt beer produced using 100% high quality barley malt. This gives it a full, caramelised malt flavour and an intense aroma of roasted malt. Its distinctive amber colour originates from the type of malt used when brewing, a special malt which is dried and roasted.

Messze a legjobb moretti, főleg csapból fogyasztva. Színe mély rubin, habja krémes, édeskés maláta áradat a szajpadlason tetőzve telíti el a szomjas utazót.

4th Jan 2018. 330 ml bottle into a large 'Leffe' chalice at my daughters in California on a very warm and sunny afternoon. Nice red hue to the mahogany body, wispy off-white head. Malts rule the roost, as you'd expect from a Doppelbock, Italian or otherwise. Fairly sweet and very much a traditional Doppelbock with a simple malty backbone tempered with a light dusting of hop bitterness. Liked it.

From the tap at 100 Montaditos, Rimini, Italy. Pours deep red with limited white foam, very fine. Aroma is malty and some red fruits. Body is fairly dense with intense carbonation. Taste is sweet and moderately bitter. Finish is relatively long and bitter.
