(Draught at Brydens, Sept 15 2013) Pours a dark gold, slightly orange, large bubbly white head. Aroma is citrus-heavy but with lots of tropical fruit in support, a bit of fresh pine. Palate has similar hop characteristics, decent earthy pine in support of the bright fruit flavours, quite well balanced. Some sweetness from malt but this is an all-hop show really, nicely bitter but not palate-killing finish. Body medium, carb way too high for my tastes. First time having a Mosaic single hop beer, reminded me a bit of an amped-up GL Karma Citra in character. Like the hop, like the beer, good balance, will gladly drink more.
