From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear mahogany with a big ecru head. Malty nose. Flavors are moderately bitter pine.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with an orange hue and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma combines sweet grain with a bit of citrus and just a hint of light pine. Flavor has lots of sweet bread and grain notes up front but adds the bitterness of light pine and citrus in the finish.

Tap at Republic. Brown color. Well hoped with malt. Good palate and some herbal character. This is comparable to Bender. Good.
