This dark lager uses bohemian pilsner, cara-pilsner, Munich and chocolate malts to give great roasted malt depth and toasted complexity. The nose of citrus, gooseberry and roasted spice comes from the use of Fusion and Styrian Cardinal hops.

Cask @ Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Ruby-brown with a creamy head. Has an initial crispness leading to some lightly sweetened dark malts in its aftertaste. There’s a few of these in its nose too.
