Clear amber-gold with a stable off-white head.
Malt-forward palate showing biscuit, caramel and a touch of nuttiness. Smooth, balanced bitterness with subtle floral notes. Medium body, clean fermentation, dry finish.

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#8. Mildly hazed deeper amber coloured ale. A fruity bitter, quite traditional in its design, indigenous flavours, and a lower-end bitterness.

Cask-conditioned at the Robert Fitzharding (JDW), Bedminster, Bristol 10/10/2002. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Leafy hops, caramel and some apricot in the aroma. Flavour had biscuity malts, with some digestive fruitiness, a touch more fruit and led to a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.
