Clear golden color with a fine white head. Malty and herbal aroma. Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Malty and herbal flavor. Drinkable, but not something I buy.

Can, 0.33l. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, bread, grass with mild honey note. Taste starts with moderate sweet bready malt, following is grassy with mild sweet floral note, crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Could be much worse...

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack wässrig malzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

June 2009: Gold coloured can with a green label, sold in the UK at IKEA stores, my wife thought I might like it. Poured into a Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass, it looked OK, mid-range lager gold, bright and with a good white head sat on top, the head fell away as the tasting progressed. No aroma much, gets my standard 3 for a pils/lager non-smelling beer. I enjoyed the honest lager taste, nothing out the ordinary, but clear, refreshing and just what I needed at the time, it was a hot afternoon and I’d been gardening. No metallic feel, not overy dry like some cheap pils/lagers, not that this was cheap. No world beater, but pleasant and harmless.

Actually a good one for being a basic lager. Fruity and fresh with a strong malty aftertaste.

Leichter hellmalziger Antrunk mit süßlich-fruchtigem Hopfen, der allerdings nur in Spuren hintergründig gefunden werden kann. Auch die Herbe im Mittelteil ist nicht wirklich stark, fügt sich so aber passend in das Bier ein. Seicht getreidiger Abgang, etwas klebrig. Absolut kein besonderes Bier – aber trinkbar. 7/8/8/7/7/7

330ml can. Pours gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is corn and sweet grass. Taste is sweet malt to start. Sweet finish with some grass.
