From a 440ml can on 3/1/2021. Pours a very deep brown with a medium head. Has a moderate chocolate and caramel aroma, with a touch of peanut butter and vanilla. This is a super sweet one - chocolate, caramel, vanilla, maple syrup, brown sugar and a hint of the promised banana. Curiously I don't get any peanut butter, and certainly no bacon. There's a modest, sharp roasty bitterness to give it some balance. It's a touch warming, yet utterly smashable for a ten per center. The mouthfeel is syrupy and a touch creamy, the carbonation soft. This is a straight forward but rich and luxurious pastry stout. Will no doubt be too sweet for some, but it's a big thumbs up from me.
