Draught at ÅBF08. Roasted aroma. Cloudy black colour. Cardboard flavour, lots of horse. Barley bitterness in the aftertaste.

Draft at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, and so is the flavor with a dry bitter finish. Standard stout.

500 ml bottle@SBC 2008. Black body with a small beige head. Aroma is like sweet molasses, roasted malt, coffee, liquorices and traces of cooked vegetables. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, bitter, liquorices, coffee and a hint of cigar. Fine balanced body and long bitter, roasted finish. Nice stuff.

Århus2008. From tap, poured by the brewer and with an very detailed description of how it was made - quite interesting. Pours dark to black with a lacing tan head. Solid roasted malt and mild smoke aroma. Flavour is solid roasted and with a distinct smoke note. Oily and tar flavours into the finish. Quite dry and mild note of liqourice. Nice one.

Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Dark color. Soft stout taste, malty, roasted. Good malty, dark, bit chocolat. Nice.

Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt and hops. Light bitter finish.

Draught at Aarhus Festival. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty roasted aroma. Heavy bitter flavor, stuffed with chocolate and coffee notes. Long nice finish. Creamy palate. Excellent beer.

Black with a lasting light brown head. Caramel, malt, grain and some smoke in the aroma, which doesn’t quite prepare for the wonderful flavour explosion to come. Dry and roast with smoke, tar and licorice. Burnt finish.
