Springtime Citra Pale.
The idea for Voar was for a pale, clean, nicely hoppy beer with good mouthfeel from using a decent amount of wheat and oats.
Malts:
Golden Promise
Flaked Oats
Oat Malt
Wheat Malt
Naked Oats
Hops:
Citra
Amarillo
3.5% ABV
Cask only
Voar, by the way, is Orcadian for the spring. Since we brewed this just as the weather is turning the name seemed very apt.

Cask at The Redgarth, Oldmeldrum. It pours crystal clear yellow with a medium, frothy head. The aroma is fresh, bright floral character, touch of elderflower, zingy, zesty, tangy lemon - lime, tangerine and clean malt base. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing level of bitterness which lingers, clean malt base, fragrant, floral, pine, pithy, zesty, tangerine peel, keffir lime and a touch of peppery spice with a crisp, dry finish. Light body and well appointed cask carbonation. Clean, bright, floral and zesty. Hard to beat outside on a sunny spring's day. Quenching dot com.
