Opaque deep brown to black with a large beige frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: toasted malts, esters, some treacle. Taste: pretty dry, dark malts, esters, burnt pie crust, distant hop. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: light plus body, average carbonation. Overall: drinkable, not that bad.
