Brendan Woods was our third head brewer, helping Sawdust maneuver the turbulent Covid years and beyond. He’s the creator of many fan favourites, including “Little Man” and “Field, Meadow, Stream”. So, it’s only fitting that Brendan’s back to collab with Sam, on the 3rd beer in our X Brewers Series. A malt forward Grisette designed to satisfy during the coming fall months. This unique beer showcases everything that Brendan and Sawdust are known for. Quality with experimentation and excitement.

This grisette poured a slightly hazy, deep orange colour with a big, creamy off white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, spice, toffee and whipped cream? First swig was quite carbonated with flavours of spice, ripe fruit, floral hops and caramel. Finish is lightly hoppy with a sweeter ending. Flavours of malt, and ripe fruit flavours lingering.
