Bottled in May 2010. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of spices, alcohol, honey, and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of honey combined with notes of raspberries, malt, and cranberries, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Much better than first encounter - gains with age, but still very sweet.

Draft at EBF 2008. A hazy golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits, and honey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit and honey. [6/2/7/3/13=3.1]

Thanks! You know who you are. Cloudy orange with no head. The aroma has a unique and complex berry blend on a backbone of good malt. The flavour is dry, spicy and filled with berry, unlike any other beer. Very nice beer, and absolutely not worth the price. Of course it doesn’t help that I’m far from being a bottle fetishist.

(On tap) Slightly hazy golden with absolutely no head. Very sweet and fruity with distinct honey accents in the nose. Fullbodied and intense with plenty of fruit and some flower or pollen sweetness - it must be the honey. No bitterness. Very mead-like in character. 130908

Draught@EBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is alcohol, nectar, peach and a lot of vanilla. Also some berries and herbal notes. Flavour is overly sweet, nectary and quite vegetably along with some slight herbal notes.

Draught at EBF08. Weak buttery aroma. Hazy orange colour. Sweetish, citric flavour. Berrylike aftertaste, cranberry I hear. Some honey in the nose. Like a dry mead.

From tap. Pours slight cloudy and with a fully gone head. Aroma is dense honey and spiced. Flavour is conplex spiced and mild caramelish with dense honey note. Dry and with note of heather and spices. Lingering spiced and dry finish. Smooth and herbal pleasant finish. Very interesting beer with a lot of different spice flavours going on yet nicely complimenting each other and smooth way. Slight flat, and auhtentic, on the carbonation level. Huge thanks to the people from Søgaard, and especially Christoph Behnke, to let us taste this - and contrary omhper - we got this for free :)

++Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen.++ Hazy pale golden. Complex aroma of rowanberry, grass and cranberries. Juicy and fruity, amazingly intense. With medium bodied it comes across lighter than expected. It’s soft and buttery. Intense citris rowanberry flavour. Finishes with warming brandy but low bitterness. An amazing, full flavoured beer, worth every single one of the 505 tokens...
