A resinous, piney brown ale. My Name is Malt pours a deep garnet with a tan head. Pine sap and orange peel on the nose. Bitter, piney hop character with a sweet malty balance reminiscent of bread crust and toffee.

16oz pours a clear brown with some lacey white head. Nose has grapefruit rind and heavy pine and heavy soap. Flavor has same, strong bitterness with black tea under pinnings. Dry and bitter finish. Sort of running on the verge of barleywine. 7 4 7 3 13
