500ml bottle from Anthony's of Wellington. Clear gold pour with a nice white collar. Pleasant floral ginger aroma. A nice amount of ginger coming through to taste. Light, refreshing and fitting the bright Autumnal sunshine nicely.

Cask at Coach and Horses, Shrewsbury – at 3.7%. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is mainly malts, but some traces of ginger too. In the mouth, the ginger is very strong and, whilst not overwhelming, leaves little room for anything else. It’s light and refreshing and some hints of summer fruits and grains as well. Finish is slightly dry and spicy. This is not bad at all, but a little strange.
